It’s hard to believe it’s been 20 years — from playing tiny clubs to stepping out on some of the biggest stages in the world. Young For Eternity opened so many doors, and we’ve been lucky to tour across the UK, Europe and beyond, sharing those moments with you.
To mark our anniversary, we’re releasing 'WHEN I'M WITH YOU' — a collection of songs that tell the story of our band so far. It kicks off with Oh Yeah and flows like a live set, covering everything from early tracks like With You and I Want To Hear What You Have Got To Say, through to We Don’t Need Money To Have A Good Time and songs from Uncertain Joys.
We’ve also included two new songs – I Need To Feel You Closer and Passenger’s Side – both recorded with our new drummer Camille Phillips, who joined us in 2023. It felt right to add something new to the mix as we look back and move forward at the same time.
Available to pre-order HERE on double-vinyl, CD and digital formats. UK fans who pre-order the album will receive access to a pre-sale for tour tickets. This will will remain live until any remaining tickets go on general sale from Thursday 10th April 9am GMT.

Wacky Steps uses character movement as both the obstacle and the source of fun. Instead of making movement easy, the game makes it awkward enough that you have to think about every action. I like that because it gives the gameplay a unique identity right away.
Massive congratulations on 20 years, The Subways — Young For Eternity was a real moment for a lot of us, and wrapping the story together with two new songs feels like the right kind of celebration. As a small nod from a fan, I was cleaning up some old tour contact sheets and ran them through this bulk phone number extractor — it pulled and validated everything in seconds. Twenty years of Young For Eternity is honestly surreal — congrats on this milestone! I still have some really faded, scratched-up photos from catching the band live back in the day, and a friend recently put me on to an online tool called Old Photo To New Photo that brought them back to life — faces, color, everything. Great way to revisit 20 years of memories. See you on the For Eternity Tour!
What a great milestone to celebrate, it’s amazing seeing how far the band has come over the last 20 years, and the new collection sounds like a perfect way to revisit those memories. On a lighter note, when I’m relaxing after listening to music or reading updates like this, I usually play Subway Surfers for a bit since it’s such a fun and easy game to unwind with.
