NME - Krissi Murison
From one of
the trash-rock trio's early home-made demo's, "Rock'n'Roll
Queen" is the feverish, trailer-trash anthem The Datsuns
and The Von Bondies always promised to write, but never really
got around to.
Drenched in
a sticky pool of teenage lust, sweat and cheap cologne, frontman
Billy Lunn screams his scorching desire to girlfriend/bassist/backing
singer Mary-Charlotte Cooper, who nonchalantly chants back
her approval, while brother Josh on drums tries his best to
get in the action too. So hot, it'll leav tyre marks on your
stereo.
