The fusion of blues, punk and grunge is an injection of life that isnt following the current blues mould thats swamping record collections at the moment. Billy sings with the angst and pain of some one like Craig Nicholls in a yelping torn up inside kinda way, the only difference is that Billy is actually good, his vocals are complimented by Charlottes backing on tracks like Rock'n'Roll Queen. They don't wreck the stage in some dumb rock'n'roll cliché but pound through a hectic stormy ride with the rolling of thunder bass line, the bolt of lightning guitar riff and thump of the drum that threatens to send you over at any moment.

They have everything it takes to be great, they sound great, they look great and theyre only 18 years old. Look no further for your rock needs, the Subways will be massive if this music world has any decency at all.
